Updating customer attributes
How can I update a customer’s attribute?
You can add various attributes to customer profiles in your business. There is an important difference between a customer and event attribute. While event attributes are added to events which are tracked to a customer, customer attributes are set directly for a customer.
We recommend you to use customer attributes for which you don’t need to have history and that can be set only occasionally or only once, for example customer information (like email, name or birthday), last purchase (e.g. used for automatic campaigns) and so on.
To update a customer’s attribute you should use the method
update() of the SDK that you are using.
